Worlds Will Collide

November – 2008

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe was the first game I shipped. I was hand picked from a group of Interns in the Art Sharing department for my Maya scripting abilities and work ethic (and probably a lot of luck). Joining the team a year late I had to work quickly to adapt as the project was already beginning crunch.

Key tasks:

  • Modeled various props and level blockouts.
  • Setup volumes and tagged assets for wall hiding.
  • Created fragment collisions for breakable assets.
  • Generated MEL scripts for asset management.
